"Sourced in the lower part of the Idig grand cru and exclusively from younger vines, the 2015 Königsbach with its deep and concentrated chalk, herbal and lemon flavors, is clearly dominated by its great terroir on both the nose and palate. The latter is dense, round and creamy, but full of finesse, controlled power and tension; the palate is provided with a tight and persistent mineral structure, a stable acidity and a long, aromatic finish. This is virtually a grand cru sailing undercover as village wine."
