"The 1985 Vintage Port is a field blend (heavy on the 'big three' of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca) coming in just under 106 grams per liter of residual sugar. This is a current submission, although obviously not a new wine. I remember seeing this once many years ago, closer to release, and it didn't seem to have nearly this much substance. "Aromas of violets, dried fruits and figs. Full body, medium sweet, beautiful tannins and length. Seems to be growing in depth and intensity. Beautiful now. I love the tannin tension to this. Drink and enjoy."
