Fruit is selected from a variety of regions in New Zealand, with each region adding its own dimension to the wine. Gisborne adds texture and ripeness, Marlborough and Waipara add a backbone of acidity which helps to bind the wine together and add a level of freshness. The nose has white peach, almond meal, fresh apple and quince aromatics.This has a lovely soft texture that is very approachable yet powerful with a touch of structural tension providing elegance and length to the finish. This is a very sophisticated Pinot Gris offering superb value.
