A great intro to the whites of this region, the value priced 2017 Côtes du Rhône Reserve Blanc (50% Roussanne, 40% Viognier, 10% Clairette aged all in stainless steel) gives up ample white peach and lemon-laced stone fruits, medium-bodied richness and juicy, vibrant acidity that shines on the finish. It’s a seriously quaffable white to drink over the coming year or so.
