"A 60-40 blend, the 2018 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc co-fermented and then aged 11 months in a single concrete egg. There’s no oak, although the nose offers up spicy, honeyed and toasty notes that suggest it, alongside preserved lemon and ripe fig. It’s medium-bodied, with a plump, silky mouthfeel and a long, harmonious finish. I suggest drinking it young, as there’s no real track record, but its Sémillon content may propel it to greater longevity"
