5 Stars: Michael Cooper
Lifted blackberry and cherry fruit with perfumed violet florals. Loads of spice; clove, aniseed and white pepper with quality oak aromatics adding complexity. A vibrant and elegant opening with fresh berry flavours bursting forth. Super fine tannin structure with a delicate spine of acidity threading the palate. Long sweet fruited finish. Very youthful tasting just now, delicious and fresh but holds so much promise. No rush to drink. Cellar with confidence for 10 plus years.
